Last night I met a group of young girls, 17 and 18 years old... a few... and they said to me: “Our problem is that we don’t have young people and we don’t have women”... and I said to them: “And what’s this?” and they looked at each other...

In other words for a long time we have been really worried... we, when I say “we” I’m referring to the oldest... we have been worried about this theme of no women, no young people; we don’t have any women or young people we will go out like a candle, we said... and we were very worried about this theme that we had no reach, we weren’t getting to the youngest people, to women... it really was a concern... Ten years ago!

And we still continue with this inertia, but the landscape has changed! We are continuing with this, but it’s changed. We don’t have to worry about this now. We have to worry about other things... but not that we are not reaching new people, new generations, women... no, it’s no longer like that... and in many of us this inertia remains and it no longer exists. They are things that we continue to say but that are wrong.

It’s fantastic and the impression that it gives is that it is going to be even more intense, this affluence of young people, this affluence of women and other... it’s going to be more intense day by day; because all sorts of references of the system are coming to an end. So it is very possible that young people and others will not participate in the calls that the system makes; through their parties, through their social organisms, through... in effect young people are not participating... from “them”.

This is a phenomenon that we are observing, that young people experience it that way, they aren’t participating, every day more limited... It’s not that older people are “monsters” and therefore young people (gesture of rejection)... no... There are good people in different parties, there are good people in social organisations, there are good people everywhere. But the explanations that they give, the presentation of future projects, belongs to a world that has gone.

Of course, it makes you sad because one can recognise so many fighters that have worked for years, for decades, who have left their life to construct a better world... so many people that have pushed for it... but of course are feeling that they are not connecting with young people.

“What have we done wrong?” they say to themselves. It’s not that they have done something wrong, it’s that the thing has not turned out that way, in that direction they were taking... and it is very difficult to change direction half way along the path. What are they doing to recognise that this social landscape has changed? One cannot pick oneself up by ones own hair...

So, they are suffering a “crisis of future”. Because anything that you propose as a future project, is not heard by people because they sound like speeches from another era. It’s sad in more than one way. But we must recognise that the lack of engagement between generations is because the future to which new generations aspire cannot be connected to past landscapes. This strange thing of the times is very strongly at work today. It may be one of the biggest problems... as generations have moved apart with respect to their own landscapes. Mmm... Mmm... (laughter).

How is this? How is this thing? This is cause for serious reflection. The acceleration of the social changes is such, that people fall short of this landscape change. This theme is difficult and for all those who come from a long past, they have a lot of difficulty with this acceleration of the historical tempo.

And the youngest people, that are not connected to this past in their biographies, that are finding themselves with a present between two abysses... well, let’s not be so tragic... they find themselves in this present between two empty spaces (laughter)...

They can’t use those times, they can make an effort to understand those times and those things, but they can’t use them. And they have no clear vision about what is going to happen... Well, there has never been a clear vision about what is going to happen (laughter) as if the citizens of the world were prophets... no... (more laughter).

But the theme is that in other eras, until very recently, it was believed that we knew what was going to happen. And today it is now believed that we don’t know what is going to happen. From one point of view the criteria of reality has grown! (laughter) From another point of view, everything that is projected towards the future is born from disappointment. Well, we are in this thing...

We aren’t doing things so badly among ourselves, because we are not proposing things in ideological terms, we are proposing things in terms of affection. From this affection that if one knows how to experience it, they know that there is something true. And we have discovered and we are discovering today in the world, that it doesn’t matter if we are in agreement in certain ideas, because we are very separated between us. We agree on certain ideas.... and what? If you say one thing and I agree, it doesn’t mean that we are going to walk together. We can agree on many things and even to be enemies.

So, here there are certain things that we have to see from another point of view. What approaches us in the world today, are not ideologies, it is a profound inner register of the proximity of others... How long! (he says to the translator).

We are putting special importance on the experience. We are talking of the experience above all idea and scheme. This is what the Message is about. We speak about this, and as far as possible, we are trying to communicate this. To put ourselves in agreement with this communication. Maybe it turns out well, maybe not, but with this confidence that we have in others, we agree to make certain experiences. Not in making a demonstration of ideas. The ideas are very interesting but they have nothing to do with what we are saying.

We are talking about the Experience and of the Communication of the Experience. Because your experience, alone, personal, isolated in the world is not enough. We are trying to get to certain experiences and to communicate with others in certain experiences. We are trying to communicate with the World, in certain experiences. This gives something... To Communicate a certain level of experience with the world. It could be that what we are feeling may have future.

If what we are saying has a future, the world will change favorably.

But this is a lot of history, and we are very serious!

Well, how will our activities in the Park continue? I can tell you one part, the part that I know, the other part I don’t know.
Once a month, we are making a film, that will turn out good or turn out bad, well, a film... We are making it there, in an absurd place, in the snow, between the mountains... It’s not an urban landscape. The people are not accustomed to this sort of landscape. How will the films communicate to people when they come from these landscapes. Even the military dictatorships in certain points of the planet gave us permission to speak in these places. Because it sounds so absurd... there was no problem. Their phrase: “Go and talk to the stones if you want”, but not in the cities. They believed in those things... They believed... Well, we are staying with the stones (laughter), we are not disturbing anyone, we are not creating inconveniences... and every time we are communicating better, with more people in the world. In different languages, with different landscapes, with different ages... It’s a bit moving...

So, as I was saying, once a month we will prepare a small film. With themes that hopefully are interesting to others. If it’s interesting to everyone, it’s very good.

So, what are we doing with these films? We are trying to get them to reach the different Parks. This is also very extraordinary... And we are not even publicising them, through the media, through cinemas... no. Among ourselves. We are making these films and making them reach the Parks, and those interested will go to the Parks. And those who aren’t interested won’t go to the Parks. And everyone is happy.

Good, but there are people who can’t get to a Park those who are far away, very distant. No problem, they will find out... they’ll find out.

And besides all of this that will happen every month, later on we will take these materials and we will make them reach everyone. They won’t only be for the Parks, it will be beyond the Parks. It will be in Halls, in the small Halls, where there are many friends doing their things... and can’t participate in the Parks.

But for now, we are trying to strengthen the Parks. And this is not a bad thing. We are trying to strengthen them. And thereafter things will start to come out that previously were only heard in the Parks.

And we will take advantage of this monthly situation, to do many other things in the Parks. Why wouldn’t we take advantage of this occasion to make contact with people, ceremonies, to study themes, interchange things? And apart from all of this, well, we will show this little film... The theme is all about the other thing, it isn’t in the little film... And this is how we are proposing things for the immediate future, short term. We have thought about a series of nine small films, once a month, that’s how we will reach December, once a month. Afterwards we will take this, I don’t know, we will make a... I don’t know what we will do... we will put circulate them everywhere.
Each one, that will last something like 25 minutes, each one of these films, will be accompanied always by a 4-minute summary. This will be circulated everywhere, a summary will not have all the boring stuff of 25 minutes. Why would we mortify people? With 4 minutes, this we will circulate. You want to show it on Cable TV, show it; you want to see it with your friends, you want to see it by yourself... do so. And the boring and heavy thing is for the guys in the Parks. As usual, we will try not to disturb anybody.

And afterwards, and afterwards, we will aggregate all of it, so that it is not lost, we will archive it and we will circulate it with all the 25 minutes, in several DVDs.

So, I’m telling you the part that I know, this part from here to December. One doesn’t know if we will reach December, but (laughter)... but minimally we calculate this. This is the part that we know. We don’t know anything else.

In the meanwhile the people, which is what matters, will be doing many things... (jump in the audio). Of course, it’s as simple as that.

So when we make the next film, we are making it more or less on the 15th of this month and it will circulate around the world. So it gives time to be able to translate it into different languages, a little bit of everything... so that the last Saturday of the month we could already have it ready in different places.

And this is all that we are doing, fairly little. But it’s entertaining. We are not disturbing anyone and we are going ahead.
It could be, it could be, that through the magical things that happen, that Parks start to appear like mushrooms after the rain. And what of it? Nothing, these will be places where people come together and influence their environments.

We don’t need special organisation for this. The Message moves like that, with this vaporous thing. This vaporous thing is not organised. We aspire that this vaporous thing passes under the doors, behind all the resistances. This thing that speaks of an Experience and speaks of a Path, that speaks of a Book. Let it pass like vapour without needing organisation.
But still with something aggravating! Let this vaporous thing be interpreted as each one of you likes.

“But then this will have no unity, because some will have one opinion and others will have another opinion”... And why not?
The world has changed so much, that an unequivocal vision is not necessary and all discussion that you must have a defined profile, to not destructure yourself... I believe that we should consider it.

Maybe we could destructure ourselves totally. If it’s true that we have something powerful inside. What would we have to fear? The quicker we destructure, the more we grow, the more the people approach us. We are not proposing ideologies, we are proposing approaches. These approaches are not produced by structuring. Well, they are themes to talk about with kindness among friends.

The aggravation is this: it can be interpreted however you like.

And it is happening that there are many people that have criteria, good criteria.

“Well, anybody can say anything”, they will say. It’s not like that, people don’t say just anything. People in these matters are going to choose what they feel best.

It wont be regulated with rules. This will happen if in the people there is a Centre of Gravity, this Inner Weight. They can take these things with great criteria.

So it seems that for the first time, we shouldn’t be putting things outside of ourselves: rules, by-laws, what has to be done, what shouldn’t be done... Rather to search for good thoughts, good criteria, internally. All of this is possible without the need for policing: “Do this, don’t do that”... It’s not like that...

“Then people will kill each other”. People won’t kill each other for this, people are already killing each other and they have police (laughter and applause). This is the big mess that there is today, big mess...#

Well, I won’t disturb you more... We are going ahead.

We only need in the small halls, the Halls, the Parks, the small communities that we put together among ourselves, in the family, among companions, among friends... the only thing we need “organisationally” is to put together a sort of commission to give it a name. Commissions, where the people plug in and agree among themselves. People that want to take on this function: what day will we have a meeting, where are we going to meet, what will we do to make it progress. This is our minimum centre of gravity: the Commission.

“Well, and if everyone in the world wants to participate?”. Let them participate. We will see that permanence is not so frequent. There will be few people that will always be trying to dynamise this. And the rest, well, there are so many concerns in the world today, so many things that have to be attended to, that they won’t be able to concern themselves... So it will regulate itself. It’s easy. The commissions. At least in the Message that’s how it’s put together, the commission. And how many are there? 3, 4, 40, we have no idea. But it is something where the people converge to do things. And they will interconnect. And those who don’t want to connect with others will not do so. And it’s very easy. Everything depends on if we want to do it or not. And this won’t be replaced by anything.

Well, new things will appear, and interesting and original things and what the people will discover and will create will pass from one to another, and we don’t need regulations for this. And what is good and what is bad? Look, do what you feel is true. You won’t be so wrong. There is in all of us more criteria than we suppose.
